Workshops
In this day and age of internet and instant access to information, the last thing that a person seeks is advice. Advice by definition is unwanted and unpalatable, no matter how well-intentioned and how well-delivered it may be. The need of the hour is facilitation. One has to realize one’s full potential by oneself.
In our workshops, the facilitator plays a minimal role. The participants do everything themselves. The following format is broadly satisfactory, but there can be variations
SETTING THE STAGE
- Session 1 : Introduction & orientation
- Session 2 : Power-point presentation by facilitator
- Session 3 : Interactions
BREAK
WORKSHOP
- Session 4 : Top of the mind point submitted in a confidential slip by each participant
- Session 5 : Regrouping of points & allotment to participants split into sub-groups
- Session 6 : Discussion by sub-groups
- Session 7 : Presentation by sub-groups along the following lines:
- define / sharp-focus the issue
- review what has been done about it in the past; if satisfactory, what and why; if not, again what and why
- suggest a plan of action for the future, both short & long term, along with time-table
- Session 8 : Consensus / self-contract / follow up plan with support person
